French Sketches is a nice screensaver which shows multiple images of France: landscapes, buildings, monuments, cathedrals, aerial city views, etc. of different French cities. The images are of great quality and wonderfully depict the best France has to offer. All the images are shown with a different transition effect which, unfortunately, you cannot customize. The images are shuffled, so you may see some of the images several times, while others, only a few times. Moreover, the screensaver lacks music and sounds, which would definitely make it much more attractive.
From the settings menu, you will be able to customize the video mode, screen brightness, the time the images remain on the screen, and image transition time. If you want, you can also add an FPS counter and a digital clock (12h and 24h) in one of the screen corners. It would be great if the images included captions with the locations of the places shown in the images.
